I swear sometimes that looming task only grows in weight before finally it’s like a floodgate opens.

But hey at least the meds make that flood gates more like a small curb rather than hoover dam.

    What tips the scale isn’t the looming weight but the deadline-induced adrenaline rush! At least for me, this kinda works in most cases. It just is very stressful!

      i still have the occasional ptsd-nightmare from my time studying 20 years later.

      i somehow got my degree. but still; very stressful.

      I once made a presentation in a prestigious music and technology institute in Paris. Finished it in a Starbucks an hour before the event started.

    I mean, this assumes both “objects” have the same density. Perhaps the Looming Task is always that big, but starts out the density of styrofoam, and eventually becomes similar to lead as the deadline gets closer 🤓
