Depending on the part of the city you live in, it may not be worth it. For example, on the south side, St. Vital Mall largely fills that role. And, assuming you have a car, the Outlet mall by IKEA may also work better.
That said, there are some stores that are only at Polo Park. Like the Lego store. :)

I’ve lived here for 10 months and still haven’t visited the storied Polo Park haha. Wonder how long I can hold out?
