But seriously… She’s so much fun now but everything is a quick and stern “No”. Sometimes I hit the jackpot and ask her something that she actually wants and it’s “Yayeeeah”.

    I’m at this stage with my daughter as well. She says a very clear and confident “no” to everything, even the things she wants.

    “Want to go for a walk?” “No” (proceeds to find her shoes)

    I am starting to respond to her positive actions with “but you said no. Are you changing your mind?” - if her answer is still no I hold her to it.

      Yep… Exactly where I am. She is so darn cute but it can be frustrating at times for her and me. She just can’t express herself fully yet… even though her mind is.
