The problem with leaving IG behind is all my friends are on there. None of them are on Pixelfed.
Famous people with hundreds of thousands followers could change this. They have the critical mass. Their followers will automatically follow. Does anybody have direct access to such people? Who can then spread the word in those circles…🫤
EDIT : I meant celebrities, not influencers.
The nice thing about Pixelfed is that there are no “big names”. It’s like old Instagram.
I honestly dont want the fediverse suddenly overrun by the masses, I think it’s better as it is.
