I had this conversation with my buddy the other day but like, all of the systems that exist in Starfield that also exist in No Man’s Sky are all more properly executed by the latter and not the former. It’s really funny how NMS had their whole rollercoaster of development and their redemption arc, because they banged out a lot of weird issues and now the game is fantastic. I’ve sunk probably 50 hours into Starfield, but it just makes me want to play No Man’s Sky for space combat or Cyberpunk 2077 for ground combat.
Turns out people wanted a fun game not a real life simulator!
