With dozens of fires raging across Ontario, Canada, it’s interesting to see it sparking discussions on global warming not only locally, but over the border and beyond as well.

Unfortuntately our MPP Doug Ford cut the Ontario Emergency Forest Firefighting fund by 67% back in 2019 (https://budget.ontario.ca/2019/chapter-3.html#t3-11 chapter 3 under Natural Resources and Forestry) so we’re in a really bad spot in terms of being able to deal with this situation.
