Correcting grammar on a platform which has a large amount of people who speak English as a second language is a shitty thing to do. I do sympathize a little bit because I always have the compulsion to correct grammar on Lemmy. It’s difficult to ignore. If you’re going to correct people, do it nicely.
I bet OPs English is better than your German, though.
Side-note, his German might be better. But his French, Portuguese, and Spanish would be worse.
