I mean, on a individual level, some of that civil resistance has very real effects. In Minneapolis, I know a friend who helped de-arrest 5 people in one day. Every one of those people would be stuck in a cold warehouse cage right now wondering how their life is about to be ripped apart. Now they have some semblance of a community that takes active steps to protect them.
