          They’re native where I am, and I’ve never seen one in person I don’t think. You can find their molted shells everywhere though when they’re in season

              The zipper is on a camper van so it’s a decent size zipper. The Cicada is a few inches I reckon. Say about 70 CMS anyway. I might measure the zipper.

                Mate this one was closer to 7 cms I believe. Biggest one I’ve ever seen and took me by surprise.
