    To use Gemini CLI free-of-charge, simply login with a personal Google account to get a free Gemini Code Assist license.

    Sounds to me like the model part isn’t open source, but I didn’t look further into this. https://github.com/google-gemini/gemini-cli/blob/main/LICENSE
