    Fist the Brits with their spongy brain blood that will send you mental, now this blood that will obviously turn you gay. What next, pig blood that will make you eat scraps and roll around in the mud !?!?! Sheesh what in the world is this country coming to I ask.

    I’m glad they went with the civil rights friendly option when softening the donation restrictions. We’ve had a blood drive going for a month or two at the moment, they’re looking for typo-O in particular. If you’re eligible, go be civic, help a stranger.

      They’re always looking for type-O, because O is the most able to donate. O- especially, which is the universal donor, though even O+ is great because it can donate to everyone with any positive type, which IIRC is like 80% of people. Other types are also important to donate because it lets them use the more specific blood type when possible, leaving the O-type blood for emergencies where determining blood type isn’t feasible.
