Trying to pass laws to defend protesters’ rights is a lonely battle on Capitol Hill.
As far as I can tell, there is no path to defeating fascism through the Democratic party.
The other fascist party. America is one big right wing wet dream.
Agreed, It’s entirely up to we the people.
Best thing we can do is unionize for an eventual general strike, and become involved in mutual aid and direct action in your local community.
I recommend the IWW, since it’s a grassroots worker led union, without any corporate capture.

TLDR.
Liberals are acting the same way they’ve been acting since 1919 - ie, holding hands with fascists as soon as their precious status quo come under threat.
You’d think we’d be able to see an obvious pattern here, but noooooo - it’s completely new to us every damn time it happens.
I’m liberal and I agree. No more excuses. Democrats will not get my vote unless they are decent. Very few are not paid for.
Wait, .world told me the Dems are the only people fighting aginast Trump right now, and constantly complaining about how they aren’t doing anything makes them stop fighting.
Clearly them not fighting fascism effectively is our fault, and they’re the only ones who can.
So lets go turn ourselves in together. Im sure if we haven’t committed crimes, they can think if some.
