Just go to Settings → General → Switch on the background playback setting, and you’re all set. 🎧

It already works with videos as well. Not with all of them, but when you play a video on, for example, PeerTube, YouTube, Vimeo, etc., the video keeps playing and you’ll continue to hear the audio from it as you view other tabs or apps.@Vivaldi@vivaldi.net Great, I didn’t know ! 👍 Will the sound keep playing if we turn the screen off though ?

I can do that without VivaldiVivaldi is good at many things - especially being a browser. But as a music player, it’s never going to beat even good old WinAmp 2.
For me, Audacious is my music player of choice. There are many others, each of them better than a browser.
