BC Wildfire crews are responding to an out-of-control blaze south of Sproat Lake on Vancouver Island and say it's expected to spread.

Gordon Robinson, Coastal Fire Centre information officer, tells CHEK News 18 firefighters, three helicopters and a response officer are on scene in the Beverly Main area, west of Port Alberni. The fire currently measures 10 hectares, reads information online.
