There’s an app too which is how I originally found it. It’s fun to just click around every now and then.

The old version used to have history with it, about radio stations. The tabs: History, Jingles, Stories

    From MIT:

In addition to the “Live” option, Radio Garden has three other sections: History, Stories and Jingles. In “History,” one can find various historical uses of radio such as a news program from the World War II era or an Arabic language lesson. In “Stories,” people describe their experiences as radio listeners and how this medium allowed them to feel at home, and at the same time, connect with the rest of the world. “Jingles” section presents international examples of short-form music and sound design that are used for branding radio stations and programs.

Cool, now I can listen to fart jingles played by egregiously happy moderators at 5 in the morning without knowing what they are blabbering on about. That’s actually not a bad thing come to think of it.

Weird for me on Android + Firefox it works. That said you have to wait for it to turn the Earth and find your closest radio first otherwise during that time the touch doesn’t do anything.
