The country’s main farming unions want to pressure MPs into re-authorising a neurotoxic insecticide accused of causing massive bee and pollinator die-offs.
I’m currently dealing with an ant infestation in my yard. All my neighbors have it too. So I did the reasonable thing and researched the different pesticides because I tend to not want to kill all of the amphibians and pollinators. And holy fuck are some of these pesticides toxic. They’re all neurotoxins ffs. Why are people cool with spraying neurotoxins on our food?
I fucking hate farmers.
I just wish the people who end up growing food weren’t some of the dumbest people alive
It’s ok they can only use the pesticides on the stuff they sell, not on the stuff they themselves consume 👍😄
