Throughout history, humans have often been fearful of the unknown, and the discovery of extraterrestrial life would undoubtedly challenge our understanding of the universe and our place in it. However, as our knowledge of the cosmos has expanded, so too has our curiosity and openness to the possibility of life beyond Earth. This shift in perspective may suggest that humanity’s reaction to the discovery of alien life would be more nuanced and complex than simply fear or panic.
