This video adds another view to something that surprised me about this attack. Drone hits that were off-center burned the targets to the ground. Drone hits that were perfectly centered certainly damaged the planes but didn’t set fire to them for full destruction.
I’m guessing that the off-center hits were able to breach the wing fuel tanks and start the fires. Does this mean that Russia has kept these at least partially fueled on the ground meaning that future drone attacks could leverage incendiary munitions for a better chance at destroying the planes altogether with off-center hits?
