    I thought it was illegal to store stuff like health care information on foreign soil? Or am I wrong?

      Storing Canadian data, on servers hosted on Canadian soil owned by an American company still doesn’t change the fact that it’s held by an American company regardless of where it’s physically located.

        I’m wondering if any of that data makes it back to the US through backups etc…
