@nostupidquestions @pathfinder With all the buff other spells and debuffs being status bonuses and martials and casters being balanced, what’s stopping the best composition from being bards + 3 martials in Pathfinder 2e?
I realize this could all be misinformation because it’s AI.
So I looked up all those things and come to the conclusion that Perplexity is stupid and makes shit up.
The proficiency bonus of Legendary is your level+8, not +11. You can’t have more than one type of bonus (so no stacking of Status Bonuses, besides Courageous Anthem only gives +1 to all allies not +3; Magic Fang I don’t know that spell; Runic Weapon gives +1/+2/+3 Item Bonus, not Status Bonus)
Sure Strike is not a bonus and it does not give a flat +20 but allows you to gain “advantage” on your next attack roll and all circumstance penalties don’t apply to you (also you can’t be the target from that spell for the next 10 minutes)
The Weapon Potency Rune does again not stack.
Magic Fang (Runic Body in the remaster) is Magic Weapon/Runic Weapon for unarmed strikes.
Even if you found some cheesy way to make an attack count for both, it’s the exact same thing, simulated runes, so it couldn’t stack and gives an item bonus that doesn’t stack with real runes like the AI wanted. Three different sources, all just item runes.
Magic Fang (Runic Body in the remaster) is Magic Weapon/Runic Weapon for unarmed strikes.
ah good to know, thanks :)
@DmMacniel @nokturne213 I meant by the post bard + 3 martials best? because buffs and debuffs from statuses don’t stack and bards can do both. The picture didn’t add the statuses. Unfortunately, cross post omitted the martials bit
Some things you need to know about LLMs:
-
They are probabilistic text generators, which look at their training data (in a very abstracted way) and go "based on what’s written here, what’s most likely to come next?
-
They treat numbers like any other word or phrase
This means, when using them for TTTPGs, they will treat everything like it’s 5e, because 5e dominates the discussion, and that any numbers they spit out will only be right by accident.
