    … OLED suffer from burn in. They have a built in expiration date. MicroLED is an exciting development that will improve upon existing technology. Probably.

      Sure, eventually. In the meantime videos and games look incredible.

      As long as the screen lasts 5+ years, I won’t be too upset.

        I mean, I have an OLED monitor that cost like 850. Lasts 5 years and that’s 170 bucks a year for an amazing visual experience. Worth it.

            Not like it has a countdown timer to death. Could last 10 years. Every year it just gets that much better of an investment

          I bought a top of the line LG OLED in 2020. It is still perfect with no burn in. I know it will come but so far 5 years so I’m not complaining.

          The quality of the picture is unparalleled.

            Ditto. My TV is 6 years old and looks as good as the day I bought it and better than ANY and ALL LCD tech I’ve seen. I used to he a sales assistant for an LCD company. Sssssooo $7k LCD looks like shit side by side to a 2019 OLED.
