I got a Steelcase Leap v2 a few years ago; they had a massive sale around christmas and new years, dropped to price to about 1K (with most/all of the add ons) new directly from them.

I like it, its reasonably comfortable (i wouldnt conaider it “plush”), but it is a bit on the noisy side for a chair. The recline return force at any strength makes noise, and the hydraulics are/were squeaky out of the box (I’ve heard lithium grease is recommended).

I kinda want to try a Herman Miller Embody; i have an Aeron at work and the sides of the mesh seat kinda dig into my thighs, and sitting at all cross legged isn’t comfortable.
