I’m really impressed with Jellyfin so far as a quick, easy, home network media server. Haven’t tried it outside the home, but for in home, very easy and intuitive.

Plex plans on rolling out a way to download a whole season at once,

Pretty specific given Plex’s whole thing is self-hosted streaming but this is great to hear for me. Went on a 16hr plane ride last year and realized an hour before takeoff how difficult it was to download full seasons from my server to my phone.
