The Steelers announced that they have cut receiver Dan Chisena, defensive back Nevelle Clarke, linebacker Kuony Deng, cornerback Madre Harper, defensive lineman James Nyamwaya, kicker B.T. Potter, linebacker Forrest Rhyne and long snapper Rex Sunahara.
I’m a little surprised that they made these cuts already, since yesterday Tomlin said he wanted to wait as long as possible.
True, Potter for sure could end up being places on someone’s squad. Most of the other guys really seemed to be fringe players though. Maybe they have interest from other leagues?
