That honestly sounds amazing… Can you show me the evidence that you have to prove this?

Actually fuck this, I don’t feel like joking about kids dying. Fuck you for justifying that kind of gratuitous suffering of innocent children over some insane supernatural proposition that you have zero evidence for.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

I was trying to find a silver lining to explain suffering but I definitely agree with you. I shouldn’t be speaking about anything outside of my own experience. I removed that post. Well done in pointing that out.

Sorry again if I offended you. My original thought came from my own experience. But not with a child. My wife died from cancer at 34 and while it was horrible, it seemed she was able to reconcile with her family all the problems they had but it took her suffering for them to come together. She died young and we never had kids but I felt in the end it was for a greater purpose even though it left me alone and destroyed. So I try to think in terms of logical time. Infinity vs short blip?

Theres this old movie with David Ducovney (guy from xfiles). It is about a woman who has a daughter and she is very strong in faith and would be chosen to goto heaven but she has to kill her daughter, it was because they were suffering on earth and it was a out of mercy. I actually can’t remember why but it was out of mercy. But in doing she cursed God for making her do that and she could never reconcile with God. The movie ends with the rapture coming and she refuses to forgive God. She could’ve went to heaven where her daughter was but she let go of the pain I guess? The movie ends with her wandering in limbo (forever?) and her daughter is in heaven. It was haunting. It speaks to the bond we have with our children.

Thanks for your comment. It got me thinking. All the best. Cheers.

        Cheers
