    That’s why it always was ctrl-ins, until the extra chromosome brother windows came by

      Didn’t know that, was brought up using Windows and only started heavily using Linux when I started my career!

      So my muscle memory was originally trained on Windows.

        I started on commodore amiga, went to windows for a liiiiitle bit, but had done ms-dos too and IIRC, even ms-dos had ctrl-ins and shift-ins.

        I’ve been on Linux desktop for nearly 25 years now, I’d never ever ever go back to windows
