I haven’t paid for a streaming service since 2020, when they started to enshitify.
Same. Cancelled all of my streaming subscriptions when the price/service ratio switched to higher price and lower quality of service… I was a happy paying customer for years until they decided to get greedy.
They were actually doing good on their mission to “fight against piracy” in my opinion, but, me hearties, greed got a hold of those landlubbers, har har har.

I only got Crunchyroll (Japanese) so I’m in the clear.
it’s owned by Sony since 2021 and was never Japanese.
But Sony is Japanese though.
Crunchyroll itself is headquartered in the U.S.
Make of that what you will.
Never had Netflix, only ever had prime trial, guess I was just ahead of the game (not just a cheapskate)
