The relationship between the Tesla billionaire and President Trump wasn’t always a lovefest.

Summary

A Politico report revealed that Elon Musk privately called Donald Trump “a f***ing moron” before a 2020 White House meeting about a Tesla factory.

Musk also mocked the White House’s “outhouse” appearance compared to China’s, irritating Trump. Despite initial tensions, they agreed that COVID was overblown.

Musk later left Trump’s advisory councils over climate policy but reconciled after donating to the GOP.

Their relationship remains rocky, with Trump reportedly saying, “What the f— is wrong with this guy? And why doesn’t his shirt fit?” after Musk’s odd behavior at a 2024 rally.

Musk didn’t win him shit. Trump was going to win no matter what.

Only reason Musk is around is because Trump’s presidency is for sale. He made a lot of money off Musk’s “donations”.

In exchange for that donation was giving Musk his position and his unofficial powers.
