Godzilla, 1954, original Japanese version. Some bits look fake and dated, but it stands up remarkably well. Don’t expect silly though, it had me by the left ventricle.
Side note: If you ever go to Tokyo, the Lucky Dragon number 5 museum will break your heart.

My favorite movie of all time! I also had no idea about that museum. How fascinating and absolutely heartbreaking.
