Summary

Donald Trump stated that Palestinians displaced under his Gaza redevelopment plan would have no right of return, claiming they would have “much better housing” elsewhere in Egypt and Jordan.

Egypt and Jordan have rejected both Trump’s plan and his requests to take in refugees from Gaza.

His remarks follow his controversial proposal to “buy and own” Gaza, which has been condemned by Palestinian leaders and the UN as a violation of international law.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu praised Trump’s plan as “revolutionary.”

Arab leaders have rejected it, while Germany’s Chancellor Scholz called it a “scandal” and an unacceptable population displacement.

They helped saddle us with at least four years of this shit. They can deal with people calling them dumb for a little while. They clearly don’t have a very good memory or they’d remember the shit show that was Trump’s first term.
