Summary

Progressive Democrats accused Donald Trump and Elon Musk of orchestrating a “constitutional crisis” after Musk moved to shut down USAID and gained access to a federal payment system.

Lawmakers, blocked from entering USAID’s headquarters, condemned Trump for granting Musk unchecked power over government functions.

Senator Elizabeth Warren warned that Musk’s involvement could trigger financial instability, while Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called it a “plutocratic coup.”

No, I mean that when Democratic legislators are presented with a choice of better or worse, just enough of them always choose worse, but expect greater loyalty from the voters.

I don’t think they expect greater loyalty from voters but my rep and senators vote for better as do most democrats and no republicans. so republicans are all bad all the time and democrats are mostly good and when in charge have better outcomes.

Not really. I like the better outcomes. I would like to see them continue. If the dems were in charge for a decade and the improvements did not continue then I would be suspicious but since they tend to be given just enough time to pick up the pieces I can’t really blame them.
