Screw dressers, screw hanging stuff up. Racks are the future. Toss stuff on them and call it good. Fold them if you want, but honestly it is not necessary IMO.

I’m doing that but I kind of roll my clothes before putting them in a box.
I have one box for t-shirts, one box for pants, one for underwear and one for socks. Dressed shirts and sweaters are still stored on hangers.
My dresser has never been as organized since I started doing that.
I’m doing the same for my kids, this way they can put their clothes away themselves and pick their clothes while keeping everything organized.
I use those laundry bins and I organize the type of clothing as I put them in the washing machine; this way, I simply pull them out of the dryer and dump the into the appropriate laundry bin and I’m done.
You should probably give your kids at least one room rather than rolling them up in a box.
