As expected, the dedoming lowers CCT and duv. The beam got narrower and now has snowflake-like artifacts around the beam (not visible in the photo).

Here’s a tool I made to unscrew the bezel, if you need one: H150 Bezel Removal Tool

They’re such nice nights but I can’t bring myself to buy one after I realized their magnetic charging system is just a dead short to the battery… I don’t want live battery contacts just floating around in my pocket.

Fair point, but there is built in protection that opens the circuit when shorted. It may still pose an issue in certain environments, but the vast majority of users won’t have an issue.

It doesn’t work on the h300 I have, anything that touches the contacts sparks wildly. I found this out using a pocket knife to remove some lint. It also causes stuff to corrode if it gets sweaty because it’s just plating out material onto the center post and that’s inherent to having the charging circuitry in the cable. It’s a startlingly shit design, I’m not buying anymore USB chargeable lights unless it’s a covered type C port.

Looks like h150 has two new LED options: Cree 6500k and another Nichia 519a at 3000k along with the current 4500k option.
