    TL;DW: Disproportionate coverage of of EV battery fires in the media may have influenced the terrorists’ choice of vehicle, as they were aiming to create a spectacle. Vehicles with higher front ends, such as trucks, have higher lethality when ramming pedestrians, but this does not seem specific to EVs.
