Which states? I can see this being a possible stop-gap for price gouging customers with the excuse “because the climate is changing”. I wouldn’t trust insurance companies to make the moral choice, given the opportunity.
Realistically, I’m guessing it’s just pure climate change denial legislation, so I’m curious where it’s implemented.

What I wrote was not completely accurate. In Oregon, It’s illegal to use the state produced wildfire risk maps.
