Abortion is now illegal in half the country, same with gender affirming care.
Idaho is currently planning to challenge gay marriage, and is hoping to get it back to ‘states rights’ status… which would result in gay marriage being abolished in half the country.
Facebook just changed its TOS to allow users to call queer, gay, lesbian, trans, etc people mentally ill… basically they’ve just functionally legalized hate speech based on gender/sex.

Hate speech has never really been truely illegal in the US because the right to free speech is so strong, we’ve been fortunate to have social media companies regulate toxic content online in the past, but now it seems that era is coming to an end.
I didn’t really use my Facebook account but I started the process to “delete it permanently” yesterday anyways, though I doubt it will do much except give me a good excuse to never use messenger or click on a Facebook link.
