For a moment I got that and material files mixed up… Since I’m in the fossify ecosystem with messaging, camera, and calling, I might end up trying that to see if I like it better than material files.

Forgot I am also using their calendar app… Hope these apps don’t end up going to shit or I will have a long journey switching over, as a lazy enough person.

So, found what I think is their page since I wasn’t sure if the f-Droid version was up to date and 10 months old for an app seems like a long time between updates to me. Willing to try it, though, and hope nothing happens.
Yeah, these Fossify apps are forks of a previously open set of apps where the original developer did something that is generally frowned upon (i don’t remember the details) and don’t seem to have been given the attention I think they need since. It’s unfortunate. I’ll have to give the Material Files app a look and see if it’s better.
