How about you don’t assume what I’m saying and you read what I’m actually saying. I never said you stated either of those things. I said if you can’t tell the difference between the two statements it’s pointless to explain how that meme is political.

The only way this is “political” is in a twisted american way where the only difference between the two parties available is that the dems are somehow lefties because of their more accepting views on social matters like abortion and the lgbt community, compared to the utterly deranged nazi right. Well newsflash, acceptance of peoples’ appearance is fundamental understanding of human rights and there’s nothing wrong with expressing one’s dislike of a certain style. One does not negate the other. Political is class warfare, freedom of speech and expression, not some stupid tattoos.

Are you saying it’s okay to say you don’t like black people? The color of your skin is as fundamental as your appearance can get and if there’s nothing wrong with expressing dislike about certain appearances then surely there’s nothing wrong with saying you don’t like black people. Actually, let’s not soften that statement. According to you there’s nothing wrong with hating black people because it’s just expressing a dislike. I could just as easily use that to say it’s okay to hate women too. I could probably also fit jews, arabs and other ethnic groups (as long as they dress in a certain way)

And this is the issue with your opinion. It’s so blunt and devoid on any nuance that it can be twisted to mean whatever it needs to mean at any given moment. So yeah, of course according to you it’s not political. Nothing even remotely related to appearance is political.

Somehow I just knew you were going to hide behind that one word. So let me get this straight, it’s not okay to hate of black people based on their skin color but it’s completely okay to hate them based on how they dress?

Bro are you dense? Who said anything about hate? I don’t think those tattoos look nice ok? I think she would look better without them or if she’d gone with something else. I don’t know what you’re trying to make out of this but it’s ok not to like some things in life. I don’t like this type of apartment building either, they were mass produced in the 70s probably and they’re made of crappy materials, the balconies and windows are not large enough and the walls have a shitty texture that gathers dust. I don’t like fur, it looks tacky. I don’t like bright red lipstick, it looks cheap. In fact I don’t like red anything. There’s always a better colour for everything. Don’t agree? Watch me not giving a fuck. Bet you have your own aesthetic and I’m sure it’s totally different to mine. Good on ya. It’s not political, get over it.
