I have two dogs and these are their favorite toys. Ghost is 60 lbs (27 kg) and her current favorite is Hedgehog, but she goes through cycles. Charlie is 14 lbs (6 kg) and has loved Lion since we got him a year ago.

My boys will kill one in 30 seconds, flipped open and degloved. Especially the nerf squeaky ones.

The Nerf ones are not good, but my dog can play with a Kong brand ball for quite a while.

I had a dog that used to bite open a tennis ball and then pull the whole skin off, usually without breaking it further. It was impressive.

    The toys

Ambrose’s favourite outdoor toy is a flower pot he stole from my wife. He’ll throw it around the yard, chase it, zoom around it in circles, and nibble on it for hours. We’ve tried him with tennis, cricket, plain rubber balls, and they’ve all been ignored, as well as stuffed toys. So instead of chasing normal toys like a normal dog, we have to go outside and throw his flower pot for him.

Indoors, he carries “cow-thing” around (daughter named it), cuddles up to it, and sleeps with it. If he can’t find it, he’ll run around the house crying until we search and find it for him.

    And this is Ambrose

My dog had the hedgehog, but destroyed it. She will destroy anything stuffed. We mostly only buy her hard plastic or rubber toys. Even then, if it has a weak spot, she will find it and tear it apart.
