    Ah, yes, because when you lose your ‘war powers’, it’s clearly the end of your ‘dictatorship’. By that logic, every parent who enforces a bedtime is running a household dictatorship. Netanyahu’s not a dictator; he’s just really good at playing ‘keep away’ with democracy’s keys

    After all, why bother with the nuances of governance when we can just throw around ‘dictator’ like confetti at a political party nobody asked for?

      I’m not sure where you’re going with that parental metaphor, cuz that’s exactly what I’m doing. It’s absolutely not a democracy, they don’t get to vote.

        Explaining democracy and dictatorship to someone with intellectual disabilities is like teaching a rock to dance - you’re just shouting into the void, getting nothing but a blank stare and incoherent babbling in return; it’s utterly hopeless, their brain as useful as a screen door on a submarine for complex concepts, so save your breath because it’s like casting pearls before swine
