What security does tpm2 bring to a computer that stays at home? And what about my laptop that doesn’t support it?
Not just forcing tpm2, but also reboots. People that brag about not having to reboot are ignorant.

Why? There’s no reason to need to reboot. The only reason I can think of is a memory leak in the kernel, which I’ve never personally noticed. I still turn off my system when I don’t use it but my OS doesn’t decide to reboot before I can reach the off button because it decided to do an update.
