You’re dancing around the issue and I can’t tell for sure if it’s because you never get to this point in the conversation, or if you legitimately don’t know. Why would being a blood-parent allow you to send your ideals forward, yet being an adoptive parent, or an uncle, or just a member of the community wouldn’t allow it? Do you feel your parents chose who you are, and how you think, and that you’ll do the same for your kids?
