Summary

Donald Trump has nominated loyalist Kash Patel as FBI director, signaling plans to overhaul the agency and pursue retribution against perceived enemies.

Patel, a former prosecutor and Trump administration official, has pushed for reducing the FBI’s role, targeting media leaks, and investigating Trump’s critics.

Known for his role in the controversial “Nunes Memo” during the Russia investigation, Patel has accused the FBI of bias and surveillance abuses.

His nomination raises questions about Senate confirmation, with Trump suggesting recess appointments if necessary.

Critics warn of radical changes to law enforcement under Patel’s leadership.

Back the blue has always just been a response to black lives matter. They love cops when they are beating up minorities on TV, but hate them when they are actually in town pulling them over for a DUI.

They do when it’s convenient for them. Don’t expect any logical consistency out of the right because their ideals flip wildly depending on the situation.

I’m only surprised his choice for FBI director didn’t immediately announce that his goal as FBI director would be to close it down entirely.
