I did my daughter’s ponytail, unprompted, much to my wife’s surprise. She loved it and I felt like I was taking a zen garden.
She needed to redo my work but, was still proud of myself.

I’m a dad and a textile artist who’s woven many baskets and loves braiding and plaiting but I am total shit when it comes to hair. There’s a disconnect between knowing how and doing so. As well as a hair/string unequivalency.
