    I think it’s because the city has plans to stop being responsible for recycling collection after the provincial changes happening in 2025

    I wonder why this is limited to regular garbage and compost but not recycling? I guess they’ve gotta start somewhere. With the existing system, the open and relatively shallow blue and grey boxes mean every time there is a windy day, we’re picking up our neighbour’s papers and plastics and vice versa.
