Violent criminals already get deported.
The immigrants here are only here with a legal status or are under the radar “illegally” probably living on friends’ or families’ social security numbers… paying taxes with no chance of collecting on social security (not that it’ll be here anymore in 4 years.) Or they’re working under the table at some farms for sub-minimum wage, propping up our domestic food industry on top of the subsidies the are already given.
Also, a lot of them just came over on a plane or drove in a car legally and never left. They’re committing a civil infraction, not a crime. It’s on the level of a heavy traffic fine where they would take your license away if you didn’t pay.
