    That might be the case for you, but everyone’s situations are different. A lot of people in America work paycheck to paycheck and don’t have two grand saved up, nor can they. They can’t afford to pack up and move when quitting their job means losing health insurance and the possibility that they can’t find work quickly enough wherever they move to. Your point is also relying on people having those connections (people who help) which not everyone has access to. If it really were as easy to just pack up and uproot your whole life to move to a blue state, don’t you think most people stuck in a red state would have done so already to escape the madness?
