And in fact, many in those other communities often wonder why I get so many downvotes since it’s unrelated to content or context.

i bring it up because reddit didn’t used to care about up/down votes either; but now they’re a requirement for many of it subs and i wonder if .world is going to go the same way to prevent messages like this from getting to their users.

I’d love for this instance to do away with up/down votes. But so many here like to use it as weapon, I don’t see that changing.
