This store just opened up a few months back, and they had zero bike parking.
I emailed their head office, saying that I was planning to shop there, but not until they added a bike rack.
Went to check last night, and boom! Bike rack!
I never got mad, why you gotta tell me how I feel to sell this narrative.
We can for sure move on, I don’t think we have enough in common to be besties though lol.
I wasn’t mad either. So see? We’re not mad.
Let’s be friends now. I think maybe besties in the future. After the election, maybe? Harris will win, you can relax, etc.
I’m not worried about the election either, I’m relaxed, especially right now. You keep thinking you know how I feel lol, kinda weird…
Ok, then we’re good. See? You say you’re sorry, I’ll say I’m sorry. And then we can just hate on the people who drive cars like shit. Deal?
You’ve worn me down. I’ll say I disagree with some of your world views but I can apologize and move on. I hate cars more than I hate any single person.
And I apologize as well.
And hey, we agree on cars. I just bought an e-bike a few days ago, and I’ve been nearly killed twice already. Fucking drivers, totally ignoring bike lanes. Fuckers.
Got a high speed e-scooter myself, it has made me build some empathy for the bikers. Cars are crazy.
I’ve had my e-scoot for about nine months! Pic here: https://lemmy.world/post/20575626
But for my new commute, the roads aren’t as smooth. So I went bigger and got the bike. I have to say the scoot is way more fun so I’ll keep it.
