Complaining escalates as the story wraps up and people run out of stuff to do. They also recently revealed that D3 is DOA and content creators have been pushing a doom and gloom narrative for the past few weeks as well. Bungle also just did more layoffs which tarnishes things even further.
If you treat it like your only game - you’re probably gonna have a bad time. Bungie wants it to be an MMO but once the story bits are complete it does get dull unless you’re a hardcore grinder. The new player experience is also hot dog shit so it’s almost impossible to get your friends involved. This is the tip of the iceberg though.
